Archie & Edith are at it again in the remake of All in the Family. Or. Is it Donald & Nancy? 2019’s latest Bickersons. As was evident from watching the retro show. Everything old is new again. And. Nothing much has really changed in the past forty-plus years.

We actually enjoyed the live All in the family/Jefferson’s shows. Jennifer Hudson singing the Jefferson’s theme was brilliant. My only complaint was Woody as Archie. Didn’t work. Though Marissa was spot on as Edith. Jamie Fox and Wanda Sykes were awesome. Just thought the whole thing was fun

Agree with your assessment. Marisa nailed Edith. Woody not so much as Archie. Meathead and daughter just okay. Incredible and sad that the script still rings true today.
Didn’t really watch the Jeffersons much, but it was well done.
