Autumnal March

A lot can happen when you leave the City for a few days. Scaffolding gets erected. More of it everywhere every day. Leaves become etched with tinges of yellow. And on September 18th, the Upper West Side lost an independent 94-year old woman of substance. One who even wrote her own obit, “She was a Bronze Life Master in bridge, an avid reader and an incredibly talented writer… those who knew her loved her, those who didn’t missed out.”   True.  Adieu, Betsey Strahl Levine.

Elsewhere. Kids are let out of school to raise awareness and motivate action on Climate Change. As people gather in Nevada to investigate what really goes on at Area 51. Art Bell will surely be found there.

Yes. Life marches on. But the world will never be quite the same.
